Gratitude Project - Week 31

Coming at you this week from Virginia! I'm on vacation this week so I'm going to make this short and get straight into this weeks little gratitude moments!

DAY 211

Went to the Veg Fest this morning and got absolutely soaked. The umbrella I took was a little too small for the both of us. But I'm still glad that we went for some food and vegan goodies!

DAY 212

Went for a walk tonight with Evie. I spent today reading books and preparing for something exciting that I'm starting on the blog tomorrow. I posted about it, so check it out to see what the next month will be like for me!

DAY 213

A rare Monday night skate session!

DAY 214

After the slowest day of work ever I came home and made the best pancakes ever! Pancakes for dinner, always!

DAY 215

Last year there were no vegan options at Ben & Jerrys for me when I was at the beach. Today I can walk in and order a huge bowl of vegan ice cream. And yes, I ate this whole thing and think I might die because gluten. But it's fine because it was A+ and totally worth it

DAY 216

“Success is about dedication. You may not be where you want to be or do what you want to do when you’re on the journey. But you’ve got to be willing to have vision and foresight that leads you to an incredible end.” I went for my first run in 2 months today. I'm going to start running again and cut back on biking a bit. After taking about a year off from running consistently I feel like I'm ready to get back into it. Taking a break from things you love when you're just not feeling it anymore can be such a blessing. In that time I've found a deep love for biking and have been lifting consistently. Fun! But I know it's time to get back to what I loved first, for years. And I'm so excited for it.

DAY 217

I went to my favorite Whole Foods today and had to force myself not to buy all of the jackfruits that they had there because jackfruit = favorite ever. But yay for grocery shopping and getting so much other good stuff that I can eat over the next few days of hiking!

Thanks for stopping by! Much love. xx
