It's been over a week since I posted a recipe involving chocolate. Crazy, right?! I figured I should share with you something awesome, something super chocolatey and super delicious. A Chocolate Xtreme Blizzard. Mmmm.
The base of the blizzard is a thick and creamy chocolate ice cream. What's so special about that, you ask. Well interspersed inside that smooth chocolate ice cream is little pieces of brownie bites. Soft and gooey; complimenting the ice cream like no other. I know your mouth is probably watering just thinking about this now, right? Well wait, there's more. You'll want to add cacao nibs as well to give your blizzard that extra crunch and burst of flavor. Three similar yet very different components inside one glass/bowl/blender/etc. coming together to give you pure chocolate happiness.
Chocolate Xtreme Blizzard

1/3 cup cacao nibs
Brownie Bites:

1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon cacao
In a blender, blend together ingredients until smooth. Form dough into little bite sized pieces. Set aside along with cacao nibs
Chocolate Ice Cream:
3 frozen bananas
2 tablespoons cacao
In a blender, blend together ingredients. Once blended, add in brownie bites and cacao nibs. Pulse or stir until mixed throughout ice cream.
