Vegan Shamrock Shake

It's Shamrock season! Mainly it's the infamous Shamrock shake season. Which is actually something I was never into. But things change and now I think I'm on the bandwagon. Well almost. I've never had an "official" shamrock shake. Ya know, one of those 54 ingredient artificially food dyed, dairy laden "treats." Nope, no thanks. I've created a green treat of my own that involves 5 ingredients and will live you feeling minty fresh and ready to sham-rock n' roll all day long.

I had a tough time determining the serving sizes for this recipe because honestly, I drank the whole thing. Go big or go home?!?! Getting into the spirit of things!? Going bananas?!!? I don't know. You can call it whatever suits you best. I mean, you might want to share this with a few of your favorite people, but if not then that's totally okay. I understand. I'm protective over my shake as well; as we all should be.

Shamrock Shake

serves 2-4

3 frozen bananas
3 fresh bananas
2 large handfuls of spinach
1 cup almond milk
1-2 tablespoons fresh mint
1 can full fat coconut milk (optional)

In your blender, blend together all ingredients except coconut milk. If using coconut milk, drain liquid out of can and top shakes with coconut milk. Serve, enjoy!
