We're having a garage sale this week and that's what inspired me to make these. I was sitting there thinking about a recipe that I could share with you guys and I knew I wanted to use maple syrup. We get local maple syrup from an Amish guy who's a friend of my dad. It's so so good! So much better than that stuff that you buy in the store. Sorry Aunt Jemima, you have nothing on local maple syrup. Anyways, I knew that I wanted to use it but I didn't know how. Then these happened. Thumbprint cookies with maple syrup and chocolate. Yes please!!
I usually just go into the kitchen and see what happens. It's really magical. I wish I could invite you all to come hang out in my kitchen and join in the recipe magic. How fun would that be?! Maybe someday! But until then I'll just continue sharing recipes on good ol' Create N Plate with you. That's better than nothing, right?!
Okay, let's move on to the good stuff.
