Hi guys! Sorry that it's been a while since I've shared anything with you. Summer's been keeping me busy! Concerts, garage sales, leading and going to yoga classes, socializing, going to Pittsburgh, and just spending time outside in the good old sunshine. So much happening! I love it though. Summer is my favorite time of year and if it was all year long I'd be so happy. But sadly, summer only lasts a few short months here in PA. I make sure to make the most out of each moment and you should too! Right now I'm dog sitting for my friend and I'm waiting for my sister to text me this recipe. I went home really quick today to create something to share with you guys and it didn't turn out how I wanted. But I decided to share it anyways! (As soon as I get that text..) I must apologize for the iPhone photos too. I was super excited and trying to hurry while doing this photo shoot. So I set everything up and grabbed my camera to find the battery dead. Nooo!! I didn't have time to charge the battery so I snapped a few shots with my iPhone. Better than no pictures, right?!
Anyways, this is a blueberry, banana, cherry, coconut creation that you will love and remake over and over again. Mmm. Yay! Easy, chilling for those hot summer days, and delicious. Can't ask for more than that! Let's get to that recipe.
Berry Banana Shake
serves 2-4
4 frozen bananas
4 fresh bananas
1 cup water
1/2 cup coconut water
1 cup cherries
3 frozen bananas
3 fresh bananas
1 and 1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup coconut water
Combine first 4 ingredients and blend. Remove half of the shake and place in separate cup. Add cherries to remaining mixture in blender. Blend together. Set mixture aside in empty glass. Blend together last 4 ingredients in blender. Layer each flavor in glasses and top with fresh blueberries. Serve, enjoy!!
