I've been setting intentions each morning when I wake up for the past week and it has been doing wonders for me. Seriously! I drifted quite easily through this week, navigating everything with a nice sense of ease. Such a nice feeling!
Another nice feeling is sharing these little moments of gratitude with you all each week. I'm loving this project and am grateful that it has become a routine practice each day.
DAY 169
Today Helen walked the whole way across the yard on her own. She hasn't been eating or drinking like she was initially but I think she's figuring things out on her own in her pen. I'm hoping that she'll open her eyes again at some point but time will tell if that actually happens or not. Thanks to everyone who asks about her! It's much appreciated!
DAY 170
Today I got everything done on my to-do list and that obviously means it's a good day!
DAY 171
Helen can see again!! Her eyesight isn't back 100% but she's opening her eyes and I think she's able to see light and shapes. Progress! I honestly never thought that she'd be able to see again but things are looking good for her and it's so exciting. To see more of her hanging out tonight check out snapchat: amandaasmithh
DAY 172
My legs are lost in the trees! I saw 6 snakes today. YES SIX. Five on my bike ride and one on my walk. After all of that I came home and made one of the best curry dinners I've ever made. It wasn't the most photogenic meal but the taste made up for it. It was so freakin good. This week I've made extra time for longer yoga practices each day and I'm so glad. It's been a game changer in my life the past 4 years and making time for something I enjoy so much is super important.
DAY 173
Sometimes you just need to come home to a big bowl of beet banana ice cream. There's no way you can't be happy eating something as vibrant as this!
DAY 174
I made cupcakes today! Such a rare event for me even though baking used to be my thing. Before I went gluten free and then vegan I baked all the time! Somehow I drifted away from it (let's blame raw vegan cheesecakes and banana ice cream) but I want to get back into it more. So here we are.
DAY 175
I've had such a busy day but it was wonderful and I'm going to bed happy to have experienced it all 💫 Summer is my favorite season but it is filled with so many things to do. Sometimes I have a hard time keeping up with it all. But each day I make sure to meditate, practice yoga, and eat good food like this because without those three things I couldn't fit as much into my days. Time to sleep!
