Hi friends! How's your week going? Mine is great. A little (okay, a lot) of rain has kept me indoors for the majority of the week. But that's a-okay because this shake happened. I wanted to share it with you before I start my afternoon. I'm getting ready to go to Pittsburgh to meet up with a good friend. I don't know what we'll end up doing. Probably going to Whole Foods and other random grocery stores before we end up at Eden to devour some delicious food. I'm pretty pumped about it. Really, I'm pumped about most things and I hope you are too!
I made this Cinnamon Sugar Shake to power me through this exciting afternoon and I'm currently sippin' on it. Actually I'm trying to pace myself while drinking it but it's disappearing much faster than I want it to. Round 2 maybe? Hmm. Anyways, this shake is for the sugar lovers out there. Hence, the name... But I think anyone can enjoy it. Some maybe more than others. Personally, I drink this whole thing plus some more all on my own. *high five!* But if you're not much of a sugar person then... what is wrong with you!?!? Just kidding.. you can still enjoy this too. It's for everyone. Let's all share the sugar love together. Mmm.
Cinnamon Sugar Shake
serves 2
2 frozen bananas
1 fresh banana
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup dates
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon maca powder
Blend everything together. Pour into glasses and sprinkle cinnamon on top, if you'd like. Serve, enjoy!
